Halloween is so much fun, I love it!

I like seeing everyone in their spooky costumes and the decorations on people’s houses. Do you like to celebrate Halloween?

This year, a few family friends came over and we went trick-or-treating in my neighbourhood. Do people in your neighbourhood celebrate Halloween?

Last year I dressed up as a zombie girl.This year I was a rag doll and did my own makeup.

What did you dress up as?

Evie was a tidy girl in her tidy bathroom, fixing her tidy hair with her tidy older sister, Carly. As Evie and Carly walked out of the bathroom, they both kissed their Mum and Dad goodbye and ran off to school as fast as cheetahs, because they knew that they were late. When they got there, they heard the school bell “Ding Dong!”, so Evie and Carly ran off to their classrooms. As Evie walked in she saw her best friend, Sadie, who’s hair resembled soft flowing honey. She asked, “Was I late?” “I even missed out on breakfast so I could get here on time”. Evie’s stomach grumbled and roared like a dinosaur. She also had sweat running down her face from all the running and the pain in her legs was stabbing her like she’d been pricked by thorns. The reason why Carly and Evie were in such a hurry was because at assembly, they were going to announce the Junior and Senior Student Representative Council. Immediately, Evie and Sadie’s teacher asked everyone to form a line to walk to assembly. Sadie said “I’ll give you the fruit after assembly, and good luck for the Junior SRC”. Evie smiled.

These are some widgets I put on my blog and the reasons why:

• Flag Counter – To see exactly what countries the people visiting my blog come from.

I worked out that this is pretty easy once you’ve done it a few times.

Tiger, Panda and Blue Leopard, were three school friends from different parts of Asia. They met each other when their families all moved to the same place. Panda was from south central China, Blue Leopard was from south Asia and Tiger was from India. They were all adventurous learners and wanted to reach their goals. Their favourite part of school were the excursions, because they got to explore new things.

But one day, the gang’s class had an excursion to Diyaluma Falls in Sri Lanka, due to the nice weather. They were all very excited and  already handed in their permission slips early. When they got there, Ms. Red Panda told the class to come and sit down. While Ms. Red Panda was talking, behind the waterfall rock, Panda saw a little cave, she was puzzled, and she whispered to Tiger and Blue Leopard what she saw. They thought it was just her imagination. Eventually, they had a recess break after Ms. Red Panda’s talk. Before the threesome ate, Panda got Tiger and Blue Leopard  to show them the cave behind the waterfall rock, rather than just persuade them. They walked over to the back of the waterfall rock and found the cave, walking in quietly and slowly and found someone sitting on a chair made out of rock, green skin, covered in scars. Tiger said to the person “Hello”. The person said back “I’m the Green Nightmare, GET OUT OF MY CAVE IMMEDIATELY!”

My name is Mary, I’m 11 years old and am in Year 6. My favourite subjects at school are French, Literacy and Drama. My favourite foods are lasagna, salted caramel ice-cream and macaroni . I enjoy playing netball and cricket. I have 2 younger brothers who are 9 and 6 years old and a younger sister who’s 8. I have a 3 year old sausage dog, Skipper, who is very cute and very cheeky. My favourite singers are Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor.

Here is my persuasive infographic that I did in Term 1 saying ‘puppy factories should be banned’. I liked this topic because I love dogs and puppies. When I heard about puppy factories, I was very upset.
